Foreign markets moving fast for Speedy Hire

International expansion kept equipment rental firm Speedy Hire on track this winter with double digit revenue growth.

It said its international business grew revenues by 37 per cent year on year in its financial third quarter, adding: “Importantly both margins and returns have continued to improve across the group.”

UK and Ireland revenue was up 2 per cent against the same period the year before.

The firm said: “Speedy’s consistent strategy, market positioning and strong market share in key sectors continues to underpin the on-going progress being made by the group.

“Performance in the fourth quarter to date enables the board to reiterate its confidence in meeting its expectations for the full financial year.”
