Weather can’t dampen show crowds’ fun

Despite the challenging weather conditions that affected attendance at the Royal Highland Show, it remains one of Scotland’s top events with visitor numbers for 2012 at over 160,000.

The exact figure for the show’s four-day run which ended on Sunday- was 161,242 which compares with 182,984 last year. The 2012 figure was the fifth highest in the past 15 years.
