Moredun honours Jackson
Noted research scientist, Dr Frank Jackson has been awarded an honorary fellowship by the Moredun Foundation in recognition of his 40 years work at the world famous research station.
He retired as senior principal parasitologist last year and during his time at Moredun, Jackson, who is recognised as a world authority on parasitic nematodes in sheep and their control, made an outstanding contribution to increase the knowledge on nematode infections in small ruminants.
He is an author of more than 150 papers concerned with the management of anthelmintic resistance including its prevalence and the mechanisms behind it.
