Titan Torque seals £4m AGR contract
Titan Torque Services, an Aberdeen-based oilfield equipment specialist, has secured a £4 million contract with one of the world’s largest well management firms.
The three-year deal with AGR has options to be extended. Titan said its relationship with the group had grown following drilling campaigns in the North Sea and off the coast of the Falklands Islands.
The North-east firm’s mobile torque unit is said to reduce the number of offshore lifts required, which “enhances operational safety and reduces costs”.
Keith Gaskin, managing director of Titan Torque, said: “We have an excellent relationship with AGR following our work for them in the Falklands and in the North Sea. The opportunity has arisen to strengthen that relationship.”
