Fuel flows again at troubled refinery
Petrol tankers began leaving the Coryton oil refinery again yesterday morning following a shutdown triggered when the site collapsed into administration.
The Essex refinery’s administrators, at accountancy firm PwC, said that – after discussions with suppliers and customers, which include BP – they had re-started shipments, easing fears over fuel shortages.
