David Murray cohort Grigor Milne signs with 'big four' law firm
A FORMER lieutenant of Sir David Murray has rejoined one of Scotland's "big four" law firms.
Grigor Milne joined Murray International in 2001 as group solicitor and went on to become legal director of Murray Capital, its private equity arm. He has now been appointed corporate development director at Dundas & Wilson.
In the newly created role, Milne is charged with bringing D&W closer to Scotland's entrepreneurial community and medium-sized businesses.
Corporate partner Douglas Crawford said the firm would still pursue big corporate deals but Milne's expertise would help "fine tune" its existing work with small companies.
The firm's recent deals have included working with Lloyds Development Capital on the management buyout at SubOcean and the sale of Brogan Fuels to Irish group DCC.
Milne first joined D&W in 2001 before joining Murray International.
