A state-of-the-art pet hospital has opened in Glasgow, with the £1 million “super practice” supported by Royal Bank of Scotland.

Pets ‘n’ Vets Family said the Pollokshaws facility, at the Auldhouse Retail Park, will offer round-the-clock care.

Oliver Jackson, partner with veterinary network, said: “The Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital allows us to offer the full range of veterinary services from vaccination to the most complex surgical procedures; including for example, key-hole surgery and full cardiology assessment and treatment.

Bill Dickson, senior relationship manager with RBS Corporate & Commercial Banking, added: “We wish Pets ‘n’ Vets every success with this new venture and are sure it will continue to win the respect and praise of specialists and pet owners alike over the forthcoming months.”
