A provider of customer communication services has secured an additional contract with telecoms giant BT that will create 35 jobs at its Glasgow operation.

Parseq, which already employs 250 at the site, said yesterday that it would provide specialist B2B services for BT.

“The contract was awarded due to the strength of Parseq’s team, its specialist knowledge of the sector and the firm’s capability to deliver a tailored B2B solution to meet BT’s requirements,” the company said.

Parseq, which provides multi-channel services to help organisations retain market share and improve efficiency, employs 2,500 in the UK.

Graham Stein, managing director of the firm’s contact centre business, said he was “delighted” to achieve a multi-site partnership with BT and the creation of further jobs in Glasgow.

This month marks the group’s first anniversary in the city’s International Financial Services District.
