CONTRACT wins propel fledgling North-east IT consultancy towards £500,000 in revenues

Business consultancy Core 29 is on track to increase turnover by 50 per cent to £500,000 after seeing contracts with the likes of Ashtead Technology and Qinterra lead to a stream of new business wins.

Set up in 2012 by Sarah Forbes, left, the Aberdeen-based firm helps organisations boost profit margins by improving operational efficiency through better use of IT systems.

Senior project manager Jaye Deighton, right, said: “IT systems and management are treated like some kind of dark art. For SMEs, the big-name providers offer packages which are often too complex and expensive for what they need to do.”
