Glasgow-based Complete Cleaning has undergone a management shake-up as it targets a doubling of turnover to £10 million by the end of the decade.

The business, which was founded by Donald Carslaw in 1984, is rebranding as Complete Cleaning Services and has launched a new website.

From today, a new management structure will see Carslaw appointed as chief executive with current commercial manager, Ritchie Paterson, promoted to managing director.

Paterson, who joined the firm from logistics company Gist more than two years ago, has already boosted turnover and is set to play a key part in the group’s expansion drive.

He said: “We have now set our sights firmly on achieving breakthrough in the rest of the UK and building on the success we’ve already had with teams we have established in Newcastle and Manchester”.

The firm, which employs 430 staff, recently won a key contract to clean Owens-Illinois’ Alloa bottle factory.
