A FALKIRK-BASED sports clothing company, which has doubled in size over the past year thanks to the outdoor fitness fad, is being fast-tracked through business support to tap into the global market.

Sales for the limited edition jerseys produced by eVentureWorks have recently been boosted thanks to the growing leisure cycling market and a number of contract wins, including supplying the official T-shirts for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games cycling team.

The firm has now been accepted on to the Scottish Enterprise Growth Pipeline through Falkirk Business Gateway. It will receive support to develop its web presence.

Brian Gibb, who founded the business in 2005, said: “In the UK there’s a general outdoor fitness kick with the boom in leisure cycling a growth market we want to capitalise on. The help through Business Gateway Falkirk has been crucial in supporting our development.”
