Oilfield engineer Glacier Energy Services has opened its first overseas base, investing £250,000 to set up office, workshop and warehouse facilities in Singapore.

Glasgow-based Glacier has appointed Tony Pont as regional general manager, and Kwok Kin Yuen Gary as operations manager at the new base. The pair are pictured with managing director Mark Derry, who said securing an in-country management team was vital to achieving the milestone .
