Hotel chain Travelodge is creating 550 jobs, ranging from managers and cleaners to plumbers and carpenters.
About 100 new posts will be needed for new hotels opening in London and Oxford, and 45 at the company’s head office in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Travelodge also said it was also looking for plumbers, carpenters, electricians and carpenters as it continues with its nationwide £100 million hotel modernisation programme.
Chief operating officer Jon Hendry Pickup said: “We’re attracting more customers than ever before and we continue to open new hotels. To support this, we’re looking for people to join the team who are passionate about delivering great customer service.
“We have a real track record of developing our team members. Hundreds of people who have joined the company in an entry level job or apprenticeship position are now in management roles.”
