National law firm Shoosmiths is expanding its Edinburgh team with the arrival of commercial dispute resolution partner Stuart Clubb.
Clubb, who qualified in 2003 and joins from rival HBJ Gateley, will lead the firm’s dispute resolution team in the city.
The solicitor advocate is experienced in corporate, contractual, insolvency and property-related disputes. He also advises insolvency practitioners, companies and directors on all aspects of insolvency law.
“I’m very excited to join Shoosmiths – a law firm synonymous for its superb client service and excellent expertise both sides of the Border,” said Clubb.
“I very much look forward to building upon our hugely successful commercial offering in Edinburgh and look forward to working with clients nationally.”
Alex Bishop, Shoosmiths’ national head of dispute resolution and compliance, added: “Stuart is widely regarded in the region as a ‘go-to’ lawyer with considerable breadth and depth of experience in the area of commercial dispute resolution, particularly in the insolvency and property sectors.”
