Gillespie Macandrew today said it has appointed Greg Peebles as a partner in its Glasgow office.

The law firm said the move comes as it continues to grow its commercial property presence and client base in the west of Scotland.

Peebles was previously a member of rival DWF’s retail estate finance team north of the Border and has acted for landlords and corporate occupiers – including high street brands such as Halfords, New Look and Starbucks – in the office, business park and industrial sectors.

He has also worked in Dubai and was part of a legal team advising government departments on number of residential and commercial property schemes, including the Palm Jumeirah.
