Further term at the helm of Brodies for Bill Drummond

BILL DRUMMOND has cemented his position as one the legal sector’s longest-serving managing partners with his re-election as head of Edinburgh-based Brodies for a sixth consecutive term.

Drummond, pictured, who was first elected in 1998, will serve a further three years in the role following a vote by the firm’s partners.

Since 1998, Brodies – which has additional offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Brussels – has grown from some 175 partners and staff to 538. Turnover has increased more than five-fold to £42.8 million.

Chairwoman Joyce Cullen said: “Bill is not somebody who rests on his laurels and he has led from the front to inspire new recruits and lawyers at all stages of their career.”
