Nestlé Nespresso maker hit by currency changes

NESTLÉ, the food giant behind the Nespresso coffee machine advertised by George Clooney, pictured, saw first–quarter sales lifted by an early Easter but growth was dented by currency changes after the Swiss central bank lifted a cap on the franc.

Total sales rose 0.5 per cent to SFr 20.9 billion (£14.6bn).
