Edinburgh Gin has embarked on its biggest ever sponsorship deal, which will see the drinks firm launch a pop-up bar in the heart of the Scottish capital.
The brand will sponsor this year’s summer celebrations in St Andrew Square gardens as part of a three-year agreement to support entertainment in August in the city.
Kicking off this Friday, the six-week entertainment programme includes jazz, comedy and entertainment from some of the biggest names on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The activity will take place around a specially created Edinburgh Gin bar with performances at nearby venues, including the famous Spiegeltent.
Edinburgh Gin managing director Alex Nicol said: “Our product is made in the heart of the city so it’s appropriate that, as Edinburgh’s biggest gin brand, we support the largest event in the capital’s calendar. This three year deal is our biggest sponsorship commitment so far.”
