Clydesdale launches offer on mortgages
Borrowers taking a new mortgage with the Clydesdale Bank or switching to the lender from another deal are to get half-price arrangement fees, under an offer beginning next week.
The bank is halving arrangement fees from 999 to 499 between Tuesday 3 May and Saturday 2 July for new mortgage customers buying a home or remortgaging an existing property from another lender. The offer will be available on several two and five-year fixed-rate products and on the bank's two-year standard variable rate offset loans.
It will not apply to first-time buyers, second properties, bridging facilities and investment housing loans.
