Climate consultants net £500k
ECOMETRICA, a UK-based climate change consultancy, has secured a £500,000 investment to expand its business in the UK and North America.
The funding is the latest support gained from investors and clients since the company was founded earlier this year.
Ecometrica was launched through the Edinburgh Pre-Incubator Scheme (EPIS), established by the University of Edinburgh in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise.
Gary Davis, a graduate of Edinburgh University and operations director at Ecometrica, said: "It's been an exciting start to the business, with things moving very quickly. Now the investment is secure, we begin the major job of reaching our clients – including private companies and policy-makers – and providing them with great value analytical services."
