THE following business news is expected on Monday:
• DVD and games retailer HMV is due to provide its results for the full year. The company said in April that poor sales at Waterstone's held back growth.
Waterstone's suffered a 3.8 per cent decline in like-for-like sales in the year to 25 April, at a time when HMV's own stores saw sales rise by 1.9 per cent. Overall, it led to a 0.4 per cent decline.
Profits are expected to rise to 60 million, from 52m.
• Carpet retailer Carpetright is also lined up for full-year results.
• Latest GDP figures are also due to be published.
