The following business news is expected tomorrow:
• Hospitality group Whitbread is due to post an update on its trading performance. The company, which operates brands including Premier Inn, Beefeater, Brewers Fayre and Costa Coffee, said in June that comparable sales in the first quarter of its year had increased by 7.1 per cent.
• The only other company of note expecting to make an announcement is DTZ Holdings, which has an update due ahead of its AGM.
• On the economic front, all eyes will be on the Bank of England's latest interest rates decision.
