CBI chief heads conference list
DAVID Thorburn, the chairman of CBI Scotland, is to speak at a major planning conference in Edinburgh next month.
Other speakers at the conference, run by Holyrood magazine, include Duncan McNeil, convener of the Scottish Parliament's local government and communities committee, and Petra Biberbach, of Planning Aid for Scotland, a charity that helps the public use the planning system. Taking Stock: Scotland's Planning System in 2008 is at Our Dynamic Earth on 16 June.
