Cancom to be city's big Apple
CANCOM, one of the largest Apple retailers in Europe, is to officially open its first Scottish store in Edinburgh.
The company has acquired the Apple Premium Reseller Store in Nicolson Street from Scotsys.
It already has outlets in Brighton, Cambridge and Kensington, as well as a head office in Guildford.
Max Wright, managing director at Cancom, said: "This year we are planning another three or four and the opportunity to acquire an existing and established store in the capital city of Scotland is a great step forward for us."
The store is due to launch on May 17 and offers a range of Macs and software, along with the full range of iPods and accessories.
"Customers can now visit one store to trial and purchase a full range of Apple products and accessories," added Mr Wright.
