Cala may pay £20m for Portsmouth FC
SICILIAN businessman Joseph Cala is said to be on the brink of buying debt‑laden Portsmouth football club, the potential sixth owner of the English Championship side in under three years.
Weekend reports said Cala had indicated he is prepared to invest £20 million in the club, with a possible flotation farther down the line.
