Butterworth's key role at Clydesdale
Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks have appointed a new chief financial officer, bringing in Scott Butterworth from the two banks' parent company National Australia Bank (NAB).
He is taking over from Iain Smith, who is retiring after six years in the post.
Chief executive Lynne Peacock said: "Iain has been working closely with Scott to ensure that there is a smooth baton change."
Butterworth was previously chief financial officer for NAB's business services division in Melbourne.
