Braveheart backs aerospace group
BRAVEHEART, the Perth-based investment group, yesterday revealed that its Envestors subsidiary has led a £1.4 million funding round for Surface Generation (SG), which makes components for the aerospace and car industries.
Business angel syndicate Envestors raised about 1m of the funding for the Rutland-based business, with the balance coming from management and existing investors. SG, which was launched in 2002, raised 425,000 last year through Envestors.
The engineering firm also has a branch in Texas.
