Betting on new faces on board
BOOKMAKER Scotbet has made a number of board appointments as it seeks to expand its online presence.
Graham Martin, a past chairman of mobile gambling business Probability Games, is the new Scotbet chief executive, while former Tote boss John Heaton is non-executive chairman. Heaton said the firm would promote itself to the Scottish ex-pat community.
The board, which recently took over the business with backing from Clydesdale Bank, is looking to invest in venues as well as online opportunities. Five jobs have already been created at a new Scotbet outlet in Letham, Perth.
