Bank adds weight to entrepreneur drive
LLOYDS Banking Group has joined forces with the School for Social Entrepreneurs, which has a branch in Fife, to increase the number of community-focused businesses.
Over the next five years, the bank will support 500 budding social entrepreneurs across the UK to either get their businesses off the ground or to expand their companies.
From April, 100 a year will receive support from the school in addition to a grant of between £4,000 and £25,000. Lloyds has made an undisclosed donation to the school to fund the programme.
