Asco seals four contracts for £30m North Sea work
ASCO, the Aberdeen-based oil and gas firm, has been awarded four contracts, worth a combined £30 million, to provide logistics services to four oil majors.
The contracts are with Mobil North Sea, Total E&P UK, Chevron North Sea and Nippon Exploration and Production UK.
Asco has provided logistics services for Mobil for 12 years from its supply base in Peterhead, while the Total relationship has operated for seven years and will be serviced out of Aberdeen Harbour. Chevron North Sea is a new client and service will primarily be provided from Mearns Quay in Aberdeen.
Walter Robertson, Asco's European managing director, said: "We're very pleased to have developed long-standing relationships with ExxonMobil and Total.
"It is an accolade to the experience and proficiency of the Asco team that we are able to welcome new clients in Chevron and Nippon Oil ."
