Arab Spring fails to hurt All Leisure

CRUISE ship operator All Leisure Group sailed back into the black in the year to 31 October after its Discover Egypt remained profitable despite the “Arab Spring” uprisings.

The firm, which owns the Hebridean Island Cruises brand, posted a pre-tax profit of £5.7 million, compared to a loss of £2.1m in the previous 12 months. All Leisure held its final dividend at 1.31p.

The company’s bottom-line profits were boosted by gains made on some of the financial instruments it uses.
