Accelerating management expertise

THE Scotsman Publications has teamed up with management training company gofastforward to launch the Accelerator Programme, a unique series of training modules on management and leadership skills.

Each of the eight 90-minute modules focuses on a key skill area ranging from team building and influencing to managing conflict and under-performance.

It is designed as a motivating refresher for existing managers and an introduction for new managers, providing a foundation of the most important leadership skills.

Henry Faure Walker, general manager of TSPL, said: "We know that in Scottish businesses and organisations, investing in people remains as important as ever, and the Accelerator Programme enables organisations to train key staff in an extremely time effective and cost effective way."

Callum Meikle, managing director of gofastforward said: "The Accelerator Programme is the most effective way to develop skills with impact.

"Each programme module is fast, effective, and ideal for busy people. It's highly practical too, so participants are using Accelerator tools and techniques immediately."

Priced at 495 for all eight modules or 89 for each individual module, the programme takes place at The Scotsman offices in Edinburgh and commences on 5 October. Further information is available from.scotsmantraining.com or by phoning 0131 620 8353.
