INTERNATIONAL Correspondence Schools (ICS) is being sold by Cengage Learning, its US parent, to German firm Cornelsen Publishing for an undisclosed sum.
Glasgow-based ICS has 45,000 students enrolled on professional, vocational and leisure distance study courses.

Sally Pulvertaft, managing director of ICS, said: "The senior management team is delighted to support this change of ownership. We feel sure this will further strengthen our ability to deliver growth."
