Lowry works go under hammer

FOUR works by LS Lowry worth millions of pounds are to be auctioned by Christie's next month.
Among those going under the hammer will be Lowry's painting Manchester City vs Sheffield United, 1938, which is expected to sell for up to £1 million.

The works will be sold on Friday, June 6.
