Art show to mark Beano anniversary

ORIGINAL artwork from the first issue of Britain's favourite children's comic is to go on public display for the first time as part of the 70th birthday celebrations for the Beano, it was revealed yesterday.
Dundee University is hosting the anniversary exhibition to mark the first publication of the comic by DC Thomson on 30 July, 1938.
