ANDY MURRAY is preparing for another tough day at the US Open tennis today as he faces another left-handed serve and volleyer.
World No.6 Murray resumes his men's singles campaign with a third-round tie against Austria's Jurgen Melzer.
And Murray is expecting Melzer to pose as many problems as the Frenchman Michael Llodra did on Thursday before he emerged as a four-set winner.
"It is tough when you're not used to it," Murray said of playing against the few serve and volleyers left on tour. "But I think when you do play a bit of doubles and get up to the net a bit, that can help.
On Melzer, Murray added: "He's another lefty, comes to the net a lot, plays aggressive."He's a tough guy to play against – doesn't give you too much rhythm. But I feel like I'm playing well just now. I'm confident and I look forward to the match."
Murray's doubles campaign with Londoner Ross Hutchins came to an end last night with a second-round defeat by top seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.
