African Cup of Nations
African Cup of Nations
Andrew Smith: Can the Africa Cup of Nations disentangle itself from off-field politics?
ONLY one of the winners from the past nine championships, Tunisia, will be competing in the latest Africa Cup of Nations. Which shouldn’t stop us being grown up about it. Not when Africa has matured enough for a measure of parity to be sought with standards elsewhere.
