Cameron visits Afghanistan

DAVID CAMERON arrived in Afghanistan today for a surprise visit to British troops.
It is Mr Cameron's third visit to the troubled country – which he has described as the UK's number one foreign policy priority – since becoming Tory leader.
Mr Cameron said British forces were getting a raw deal over leave and called for rest periods to start when they arrived home – rather than when they left operations.
