TWO Hamas leaders made their first appearances at public events since Israel's Gaza war yesterday, signalling their defiance as Palestine's president, Mahmoud Abbas, discussed peace prospects with a United States envoy.
Mahmoud al-Zahar and Ismail Haniyeh spoke at two separate mosques.
