NATIONAL museums in Scotland will have to return items stolen from victims of the Holocaust after a vote by MSPs.
The unanimous decision means that any artefacts looted by the Nazis in public ownership will have to be returned as soon as legislation is completed in Westminster.

However, it will not cover private collections and the Scottish Government is "not aware" of items stolen during the Holocaust included in Scottish national collections.

But culture minister Mike Russell said it was morally important to pass the order.
