Glasgow Refugee charity set to host online Burns event with special guests Liz Lochhead and Miss PunnyPennie
The event – ‘We're all Jock Tamson's Bairns’ – run by Refuweegee alongside Scottish Refugee Council and Sounds in the Suburbs, will focus on song, music and spoken word inspired by Scotland’s infamous bard.
Taking place over Zoom tomorrow evening, Thursday January 28, the event will include special guests with Liz Lochhead, Carol Laula, David Leask, Chris Stout and Miss PunnyPennie already confirmed.

Hide AdThe event will begin at 8pm and will last for around an hour and a half.
A Refuweegee Spokesperson said: “There is no 'ticket price' to join the gig, but we ask that you make a donation of whatever you can to Refuweegee & Scottish Refugee Council - link to donate will be updated here and available in the zoom chat on the night.”
