Jim Goodwin cited over ‘elbowing incident’
The Scottish FA’s Compliance Officer issued the Irishman with the notice alleging that he had breached Disciplinary Rule 200: ‘By using violent conduct during a match in that you struck an opposing player upon the head with your elbow’.
The charge relates to St Mirren’s Scottish Premiership tie with Dundee United last weekend, which the Tannadice club won 3-0.

Hide AdGoodwin has been offered a two-match fixed suspension, plus one additional match from November 15.
The midfielder has until Wednesday November 5 to respond to the complaint, with a Principal Hearing date scheduled for Thursday November 6.
He was given a two-match suspension in December last year for clashing with Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong.
