Celtic striker Anthony Stokes wanted by Leeds
Stokes, who has extensive experience of the English leagues thanks to a stint with Sunderland and loan spells with Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, is said to be keen on a return to England, after joining Hibs in 2009 and moving to Celtic in 2010.
But after Leeds failed to meet Financial Fair Play guidelines, the Football League issued The Whites with a transfer embargo until the end of the 2014/15 season.

Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest were given similar embargos, after the three clubs were found to have breached the guidelines.
Stokes has made 29 appearances for Celtic this season, netting eight goals in the process, and has featured up front and on the left.
It is unclear whether Ronny Deila would be happy to let the former Hibernian and Sunderland striker leave Celtic Park, even if just on a short-term loan.
Leeds are also keen on bringing Stokes’ former Easter Road team-mate Sol Bamba to Elland Road from Italian outfit Palermo.
