UP TO 120 peace activists are to claim damages after the High Court ruled they were unlawfully detained by police and forcibly escorted home as they tried to attend an anti-Iraq war demonstration at RAF Fairford, in Gloucestershire.
Two judges ruled that police had breached the protesters’ human rights.
