The pilot diverted to the city’s Beauvais airport after the 14 men and women became heavily intoxicated and began “running wild”, according to one passenger.
The two groups of men and women are understood to be from Glasgow and Ayrshire.

Airport management said the Ryanair crew made an official complaint against the tourists who could face charges and a lifetime ban.
The flight then took off again without the men and women, who are understood to have been released in Beauvais, 85 km north of Paris, in the early hours of Wednesday morning pending charges.
Robin Kiely, from Ryanair, said: “A Ryanair flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Ibiza diverted into Paris Beauvais after a small group of passengers became disruptive on-board.
“On arrival, police removed and detained these 14 individuals.
“Ryanair apologised to the other 160 passengers for any inconvenience and delay to their journey, but will not tolerate unruly or disruptive passengers.
“This matter is now being dealt with by the French police.”
The incident is the second in two months involving a Ryanair flight from Prestwick to Ibiza.
In August, holidaymakers were reportedly left cowering in fear after up to 30 drunk Scots tourists terrorised their flight to Ibiza.
