Motorists 'clueless' on cutting costs
Some 93 per cent fail to consider filling up with petrol more often to prevent driving around with a heavy tankful, the poll by breakdown company Autonational Rescue found. And only 15 per cent think about using supermarket fuel vouchers to save money, the survey of 1,000 adults showed.
Just 17 per cent look for the cheapest filling station, while only 20 per cent look for short cuts to reduce journey distances.
