Capital performance puts Scotland in hotel investment front line
Edinburgh had the second-highest occupancy rate – 80.1 per cent – in Europe during the past year, outstripping Paris, Rome and many others.
During the month of August, Inverness, Glasgow and Dundee joined Edinburgh to hold the top four spots in European hotel occupancy.

Hide AdThe city is also ranked in the top ten European cities in revenue per available room in 2011 and as a result is being billed as a prime destination for luxury hotel investment.
