Former Edinburgh Crystal site reopens for business
The site has been converted into 35,500 sq ft of flexible office and warehouse space as part of the redevelopment of the estate by owner Alex F Noble & Son.
The first two phases of an expansion of the estate have now been fully let, with more than 100 employees working across the units.

Hide AdEastfield Industrial Estate, which was also formerly the home of Penicuik Windows, was acquired by Noble in April 2009 before being refurbished and sub-divided into smaller units.
Mark Dawson of site agent Coates & Company said the ongoing re-development of the estate has been “significant” for the local community, replacing jobs lost amid the collapse of Penicuik Windows which went into receivership in 2007 and creating business space at affordable rates.
He said Noble had “created a vibrant and attractive hub for companies to trade on a cost-effective basis”.
