Hide Adin an area which was revitalised by the Glasgow Garden festival in 1988.
During the past ten years though the area has been thoroughly revamped.
Next to the desolate Govan docks glisten media offices and luxury penthouse
apartments.
The docks were built between 1869 & 1875 BY Clyde Navigation Trust to specialise in
the repairing the underside of the large vessels which thronged the Clyde during its
shipbuilding heyday.
The site has lain derelict since it was abandoned in 1988, and time has taken its toll with many of the buildings vandalised and burnt out.
The site has been earmarked for redevelopment with residential and commercial properties planned.
