Launch of RSNO’s website plagued by fault
More than ten days ago, Google searches for the RSNO embarrassingly began redirecting web users to apparent sex websites offering to connect them with “hotties” in their area.
Yesterday, searches for the RSNO and any other subjects, including new conductor Peter Oundjian, were still redirected to a different generic site offering searches for concert and music listings.

Staff promised that it would be up and running today to launch the new programme.
Staff also said the RSNO was not being targeted by hackers but the server hosting its website had been affected. A redesign of the RSNO website was already planned, they said.
“We have been subjected not to a targeted hacking but a general sweep that has affected this server,” said a spokeswoman.
